Kim Waters, APRN is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science from Union College and her Master of Science in Nursing from Creighton University. She has been a licensed nurse practitioner since 2015 and she has 4 years’ experience working as a psychiatric provider. It is Kim’s goal to increase awareness, education, and prevention strategies to those struggling with medical, mental health and eating disorder issues. Kim’s level of compassion with her patients is very high because she knows what it is like to hurt and she is dedicated to getting you the help you need now. With Kim’s personal experience, compassion and expertise, patients will feel right at home.
Kim is an expert in treating eating disorders combining medical and psychiatric interventions. As a prescriber, she has the skill set to medically manage complex conditions such as anorexia, bulimia and overeating. She knows the value of having a dietician on hand and working with an integrated team to best meet the needs of those struggling. Though eating disorders are her passion, her skill set and level of compassion is a good fit for other mental health struggles and complex conditions.
