Dr. Wysocki specializes in working with children, young adults and adults. Will is well versed in treating ADHD, ongoing difficulties with personality functioning (i.e., dependent, avoidant, and obsessive-compulsive personality traits), developmental trauma and childhood emotional neglect, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and social anxiety. Will is also a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and he holds a certificate in Trauma Model Therapy from The Colin A. Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma.
Dr. Wysocki has experience working as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Loma Linda University’s Behavioral Medicine Center working with children and adolescents, interning in misdemeanor diversion in Sonoma County, interning for a community counseling center in the North Bay working with low SES individuals and university students, completing practica in college mental health, completing an APA-Accredited pre-doctoral internship at University Nebraska-Lincoln’s Counseling and Psychological Services office with a specialization in assessment, and working in private practice settings.
Will enjoys reading (fiction and non-fiction), most things from The School of Life, stand-up comedy, myth and literature reflecting the human struggle, talk radio, the history of heavy metal, hiking, sci-fi, gritty television shows (e.g., True Detective), drawing and painting, metaphors, true crime, cooking, walking, music (concerts and shows), and The Southwest.
