Sarah is from Kansas City but loves raising her children in Lincoln. She spent 16 years as a stay-at-home mom and volunteer at her children’s school. She enjoys watching her daughters participating in their activities, playing pickle ball and golf, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, traveling and living each day to the fullest. She is caring, compassionate, determined and driven to help others in the community.
Sarah is front-line trained in dialectical behavioral therapy and is working on completing hours for her PLADC. She is also trained in non-violent crisis prevention and intervention. Sarah has also served on the Nebraska Wesleyan University Social Work Advisory Committee. Additionally she completed the training “Engaging Through Empathy” through Project Harmony. Sarah has worked as an Intensive Family Preservation Therapist getting referrals from DHHS to help provide services for families in crisis. She has also worked the crisis line and in the community as a Family Support Specialist.
As both a provisionally licensed Mental Health Practitioner and a provisionally licensed Master of Social Work, Sarah is able to help connect therapeutic interventions with resources in the community. She is extremely excited about joining the Pine Lake Behavioral Health & Medical team.
