Born in North Platte, Nebraska but a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska since first grade, MJ has dedicated her life to helping others. Her journey began in customer service once she was of age to work, until she pursued an Associates of Applied Science in Human Services from Southeast Community College graduating in 2019. After receiving her AAS degree she obtained her Provisional License for Alcohol & Drug Counseling (PLADC) then worked as a substance use counselor from 2020-2024. She has been with Pine Lake Behavioral Health & Medical since 2025. MJ works in the business office at Pine Lake Behavioral Health & Medical and also sees a few patients utilizing her PLADC licensure and skill set.

As a Nebraska native, MJ enjoys being outdoors, working out and personal training, and she is a freelance makeup artist in her spare time. She loves scary movies and going to concerts as well as spending time with family and friends.
