Chelsea Mayfield, PLMHP, PLCSW

Chelsea is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a Nebraska native—born and raised in Lincoln, with a quick detour through Tennessee. A mom of 5, Gigi of 2, and a former roller derby skater—she’s never been one to sit still. When she’s not helping others through her work or personal life, you’ll find her outdoors—kayaking, hiking, foraging, or camping. She’s all about fresh air and forest trails… just don’t ask her to do anything in ice and snow (catch her inside). She brings a loud laugh, a sharp sense of humor, and a straightforward, solutions-focused approach to everything she does.

Chelsea has spent the last 20 years working in the helping field, including eight years as a foster parent. That experience pushed her to pursue her education and find her voice in the professional world with a goal to help people in impactful ways. She has worked in child welfare with families involved in DHHS, and more recently with adults facing serious mental health challenges, both in the community and hospital settings. She is passionate about supporting people of all ages and stages of life. She connects well with young kids, teens, and young adults, and is proud to work with the LGBTQ+ community. Her goal is to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.
